{"id":11772,"date":"2026-06-11T14:50:39","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T14:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/?post_type=jobs&#038;p=11772"},"modified":"2026-06-11T14:50:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T14:50:39","slug":"expression-of-interest-technology-transfer-officer-postdoctoral","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/pt-pt\/jobs\/expression-of-interest-technology-transfer-officer-postdoctoral\/","title":{"rendered":"Expression of Interest \u2013 Technology Transfer Officer (Postdoctoral)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technology Transfer Officer (M\/F\/D)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM<\/strong>) is seeking a Technology Transfer Officer to strengthen the Funding &amp; Innovation Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluation of the IP protection, business and market potential of research results;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion of GIMM capacities, research results and IP assets to industry and other external organizations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in the integration and participation in national and international research and innovation networks;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification of opportunities to participate in EU and international funding programmes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in the preparation of proposals to EU and international funding programmes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification, engagement and management of industrial contacts and partnering opportunities, including preparation of non-confidential promotional materials;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the negotiation and management of technology transfer agreements (e.g., NDAs, MTAs and licensing agreements), in articulation with legal\/administrative services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and reporting of technology transfer and innovation KPIs (e.g., disclosures, patent filings, licensing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mandatory Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>PhD in Pharmaceutical, Biomedical or Biological Sciences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More than 5 years of experience in biomedical research and\/or in the biotech \/ pharma industry;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience in research related with the discovery and development of novel drugs and advanced therapies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of technology transfer goals and activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Desirable Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant experience in experimental design, especially for studies at discovery and preclinical stage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience in preparing and writing grant proposals for research and innovation projects;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of and experience with AI tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Analysis of Curriculum Vitae (70%):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Scientific background, work experience and other relevant activities (25%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant experience, knowledge and skills for the position (45%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:upper-alpha\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motivation letter (30%):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Motivation and interest for the position (20%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (10%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send a detailed motivation letter explaining your interest in the position and the reasons for your application, as well as your CV describing your relevant experience, to <strong>positions@gimm.pt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Edital-EN-GIMM-CT-25-2026.pdf\">Download the Offer Letter<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/pt-pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs\/11772"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/pt-pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/jobs"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/pt-pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/jobs"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/gimm.pt\/pt-pt\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11772"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
