This is a cause we support due to its relevance as one of the greatest concerns for women.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Through a campaign held every October, recognized worldwide as \u201cPink Month,\u201d we raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer diagnosis while also communicating our support for breast cancer research at GIMM CARE.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Every year, we reinvent how we convey our message to women in meaningful ways, and we take great pride in supporting this cause. We embraced this cause by creating a life insurance policy with coverage for female oncological diseases, CA Mulher. Over the years, we have supported impactful initiatives related to breast cancer, and more recently, we decided to go further by supporting science and research into this disease that affects around 9,000 women each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Motivated by the pursuit of better healthcare for women, we established a partnership with the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM). This purposeful partnership, with one of the most credible and renowned institutions in the world of biomedical research, has resulted in funding a research grant for Dr. Ana Magalh\u00e3es of the Advanced Breast Cancer Translational Laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CA Vida considers itself socially responsible for raising awareness of emerging health and wellness issues, such as the fight against breast cancer. For us, supporting scientific research and embracing this project with the GIMM Foundation is a significant and valuable contribution to science and the discovery of new ways to improve early diagnosis, reducing the incidence and mortality of metastatic breast cancer.
