FITNESS cereals have been supporting the fight against breast cancer since 2013, initially by supporting the Laço Association, which later evolved into support for the iMM-Laço Hub and now for the GIMM Foundation, through its GIMM CARE initiative. This is a cause we support due to its relevance as one of the greatest concerns for women.

Through a campaign held every October, recognized worldwide as “Pink Month,” we raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer diagnosis while also communicating our support for breast cancer research at GIMM CARE.

Every year, we reinvent how we convey our message to women in meaningful ways, and we take great pride in supporting this cause. We believe that, together with the GIMM Foundation, we will continue to make a difference, amplifying the message to encourage women to stay attentive to their bodies while maintaining a healthy, balanced diet and an active lifestyle.

For over a decade, CA Vida has been supporting the fight against breast cancer, with a mission to empower women to face the disease. We embraced this cause by creating a life insurance policy with coverage for female oncological diseases, CA Mulher. Over the years, we have supported impactful initiatives related to breast cancer, and more recently, we decided to go further by supporting science and research into this disease that affects around 9,000 women each year.

Motivated by the pursuit of better healthcare for women, we established a partnership with the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM). This purposeful partnership, with one of the most credible and renowned institutions in the world of biomedical research, has resulted in funding a research grant for Dr. Ana Magalhães of the Advanced Breast Cancer Translational Laboratory.

CA Vida considers itself socially responsible for raising awareness of emerging health and wellness issues, such as the fight against breast cancer. For us, supporting scientific research and embracing this project with the GIMM Foundation is a significant and valuable contribution to science and the discovery of new ways to improve early diagnosis, reducing the incidence and mortality of metastatic breast cancer. It is yet another way for us to support women through various stages of life and to bring positive value to those we interact with daily – clients, partners, and the community we are part of.
