What iMM seeks: At this moment, iMM is looking for a Lab Technician to join the Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory coordinated by Professor Joaquim Ferreira, under the research project “Identifying Digital Endpoints to Assess FAtigue, Sleep and acTivities in daily living in Neurodegenerative disorders and Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases” (IDEA-FAST – GA 853981), funded by the European commission, to execute the following activities under the supervision of Leonor Correia Guedes:
Profile of Candidate
– BSc and/or MSc degree in Pharmaceutical sciences (highly valued);
– Previous expertise in handling and management of controlled substances (highly valued);
– Training in research methodologies;
– Experience with body sensors for movement measure;
– Experience as a clinical studies coordinator in neurological diseases
– Experience in European commission funded projects;
– Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols precisely and record clinical data accurately;
– Previous experience in organizing committee for scientific congresses;
– Proficient in English, spoken and written;
– High sense of responsibility, organization and method;
– Forward thinking, can-do, pro-active attitude.

What iMM offers: iMM will offer outstanding working conditions including a full time and unfixed-term employment contract predicted to start in October 2024 for the necessary period to execute the work plan. Gross monthly salary of 1.040,00€in accordance with the project budget and iMM Career By-Law as well as Holidays and Christmas allowances subject to the current mandatory taxes accordingly to Portuguese Labor Law. A meal allowance will also be paid in the amount of 6€ per each working day.

Results: Both admitted and excluded candidates list and final classification list shall be communicated to all admitted candidates through email.
Preliminary Hearing and Final Decision Deadline: After notification, all candidates have 10 working days to respond. Panel’s final decisions are pronounced within a period of 90 days, from application deadline.
