On 27 and 28 May, the Enhanced Sepsis Care project will bring together researchers, healthcare professionals and international experts for two days focused on improving sepsis management in emergency departments.
The initiative combines research, clinical simulation and multidisciplinary discussion, fostering knowledge-sharing and reflection on the challenges associated with the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis.
The programme includes the presentation of preliminary project data, clinical simulation exercises, and a special lecture by Professor Paul Barach, an internationally recognised expert in patient safety and healthcare improvement.
On 27 May, the project’s research meeting will take place in an invitation-only session, alongside a simulation exercise at the Simulation Centre, open to participants upon registration.
On 28 May, highlights include Professor Paul Barach’s lecture, followed by a discussion on the challenges of sepsis management across different emergency departments, as well as a CAML session.
The event aims to strengthen collaboration across clinical and scientific fields, contributing to the development of safer and more effective strategies for sepsis care.
