Applications are now open for the SymbNET PhD Summer School on Host-Microbe Symbioses, taking place from July 6 to 19, 2025, at the Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine (GIMM) and the Católica Biomedical Research Centre (CBR) in Oeiras, Portugal.

Designed for PhD students in their second year or beyond, this intensive two-week program offers an in-depth exploration of host-microbe interactions from multiple perspectives. With 20 expert lecturers and 35 selected PhD students, the Summer School combines lectures, research seminars, and hands-on training, culminating in the development of a short research project.
