GIMM - NOS Alive Music Festival

Science, music, and art come together every year at the NOS Alive Music Festival.

The GIMM (Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine) has had a regular presence at the NOS Alive music festival, as part of the partnership established in 2008 between the Gulbenkian Institute of Science (IGC) and Everything is New, the festival’s promoter.

Every year, science and music come together during the festival days, in a relaxed interaction between scientists and festivalgoers through conversations with researchers, hands-on activities, and science games.

This is the visible part of an important partnership that each year gives young people the opportunity to benefit from research fellowships at GIMM. By directly funding science through the training of these students, Everything is New is actively contributing to the transformation of our society.

The call for the NOS Alive 2025 Fellowships is opened until the 10th September 2025.
